The students of grades 10 & 12 had an absorbing and enlightening session with Ms Sugitha Sarangaraj , the Dty Editor of the Tamil channel, NEWS 7 TAMIL, on May 27, 2023 . The resource person, an experienced and passionate journalist, created awareness regarding the various ways in which photos or information shared on the social or print media maybe morphed to mislead. She introduced the students to a number of IT tools by which one could check photos, videos and information for their authenticity. During the question hour, the faculty and the students asked a number of questions to gather more knowledge on the the career opportunities and challenges in journalism.
