Proud Moment for SRM Public School!
We are delighted to share that Kayaan Nathella, a Grade 11 student, has achieved an outstanding feat at the All-India Aquatic Ranking Meet 2026, winning Gold Medals in the 100m Breaststroke and 100m Butterfly events.
His exceptional performance has earned him a place at the International Tournament in Thailand, where he will compete on the global stage.

World Ocean Day Celebration
On the occasion of World Ocean Day, our students engaged in creative activities including posters, poems, slogans, crafts, comics, collages, and pledges to promote ocean conservation.
Through their ideas and actions, they highlighted the importance of protecting marine life and keeping our oceans clean, inspiring a shared commitment towards a healthier ocean and a healthier planet.

Session on Teachers as Mentors
Our teachers participated in an inspiring session by Mr. Raja Krishnamoorthy, renowned actor, speaker, and mentor, on the transformative role of teachers as mentors.
The session emphasized the power of the 3Ds—Dedication, Determination, and Devotion, the importance of positive school culture, and the need for teachers to guide, inspire, and empower students beyond academics.
A meaningful reminder that great teachers don’t just teach , they shape lives.
Leader in Me (LIM) Session
Inspiring leadership, Transforming learning:
A productive Leader in Me (LIM) session was conducted by Dr. Ritu Roy and Mr. Anand on 04.06.2026, focusing on whole-school transformation through leadership development. The session emphasized the importance of cultivating a culture of leadership among students, setting meaningful goals, and integrating the 7 Habits into daily life and the workplace. Through insightful discussions and practical strategies, participants were encouraged to foster personal growth, responsibility, collaboration, and academic excellence, empowering every learner to become a confident and proactive leader.
Session on Socio-Emotional Learning
“Stories have the power to refresh minds and shape perspectives.”
On 02.06.2026, the teachers of Grades 1–5 participated in an enriching session on Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL), facilitated by Ms. Vilambika. The session emphasized the importance of building meaningful socio-emotional connections with children through the art of storytelling.
Teachers explored the simple yet impactful story framework and discovered innovative ways to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Interactive strategies such as comic creation, scavenger hunts, and club-based activities were discussed as effective tools to foster participation and deeper learning.
The session was both insightful and inspiring, reinforcing the role of stories in nurturing empathy, creativity, emotional well-being, and strong relationships among young learners.

Teachers Training Programme
Our educators had an enriching and inspiring professional development session on Activity-Based Learning, conducted by Happytots Trainer Ms. Bhavani.
The session focused on the Five Pillars of Learning and helped teachers understand the different types of learners, emphasizing the importance of catering to diverse learning needs in the classroom. Through a variety of hands-on activities and interactive discussions, participants explored practical strategies to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and child-centered.
A key highlight of the session was the focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), where teachers experienced activities that nurture children’s emotional well-being, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills. The training also emphasized creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, confident, and motivated to learn.
Parent Orientation Programme
SRM Public School Welcomes New Families
The Pre-KG and LKG Parent Induction Programme was held on 6 June 2026 at Easwari Hall, warmly welcoming new families into the SRM Public School community. The session provided parents with an overview of the school’s vision, child-centred teaching practices, daily routines, and the importance of a strong school–home partnership in a child’s early years.
Principal Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Raja shared valuable parenting insights, while Advisor Dr. K. R. Maalathi inspired parents with her thoughtful guidance, setting a positive and reassuring tone for the journey ahead.
The programme helped ease first-day anxieties, build trust, and foster meaningful connections between families and the school. Together, we look forward to nurturing confident, curious, compassionate, and joyful learners, creating a strong foundation for their holistic growth and well-being.
