Admission Overview

Admission at SRM Public School is based on first come, first serve basis. We have hazel free admission process which can be initiated from your place.

1. Admission Procedure

  • Step 1: Click Apply Online in the website and fill in the enquiry form
  • Step 2: Note the Enquiry Number, User ID and Password that gets generated
  • Step 3: Fill in the online application form
  • Step 4: Upload the given list of documents

List of documents to be uploaded:

    • Attested copy of the birth certificate
    • Copy of address proof
    • Copy of aadhar card
    • Copy of Visa and Passport (if applicable)

* Without these documents, the application form will not be accepted. Kindly avoid further requests.

List of self attested documents to be submitted after completing the admission process:*

  • From LKG to Standard XI– The original school leaving certificate should be submitted before commencement of classes in June
  • The attested copy of birth certificate
  • Certificate of achievement in sports in district / national level (if applicable)
  • Copy of any one of the following as proof of residence for parents
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar
    • Ration
    • Voter ID card
    • Copy of Rental agreement signed by a Notary ( Only when any of the above document is not available)
  • Most recent water / telephone / electricity / gas bill
  • Copy of aadhar card
  • Copy of Visa and Passport (if applicable)
  • Copy of legal guardianship or court order in case of separated parents
  • Copy of the student’s Community Certificate
  • Copy of the student’s Immunization / Medical Record
  • Report from Previous-School (if applicable)
  • Copy of the student’s passport (if available)
  • 2 recent passport size photograph should be submitted

* Non-submission of any of the documents listed above will result in cancellation of the admission.

2. Admission – Interaction :

  • From LKG to Standard I : The date of interaction will be intimated. Both the parents should accompany the child for interaction. Dates for interaction will be communicated to the parents well in advance by the school office.
  • From Standard II to XI : Basic Skill Test will be conducted in English, Math and Science. The syllabus for the test shall be of the class in which the child is currently schooling. The result of the test shall be intimated through phone with the date and the time of interaction with the Principal (if the student is selected). For the interaction, both the parents should accompany the child. Test will be held on Saturdays only. The date of test will be communicated to parents by the office after the submission of application form.

3. Eligibility for Admissions 2022-23 :

  • From LKG to Standard I : To be eligible for admission, the candidate must fulfill the age limit specified below:
  • – For Junior KG – the child must have completed 3.5 years as on 30th June
  • – For Senior KG – the child must have completed 4.5 years as on 30th June
  • – For Standard I – the child must have completed 5.5 years as on 30th June
  • From Standard II to XI : To be eligible for CBSE School Admissions at Guduvanchery SRM Public School the candidate must qualify in the entrance test and satisfy the norms specified by the school management committee.

4. Fees – Academic Year 2022-23 :

5. Uniform and Notebooks :

  • After the admission process kindly contact the admission office.

6. Transport and Cafeteria Facility :

  • Transport facility * : Kindly fill & submit the transport form in the admin office. Details of fees, pickup & drop points and timings will be intimated by the transport head.
  • A Cafeteria * : Provides healthy “Meal Plan” (Mid-Morning Snacks @ 9.40 am and Lunch @ 12.20 pm ) for Children who wish to make use of the facility. Kindly fill the Meal Plan form and contact the School for details.

7. Withdrawals :

  • Application for Transfer Certificate should be given in writing to the Principal by the parent of the pupil. A minimum of 5 working days are required for the issue of the Transfer Certificate if applied in during the academic session. If applied by the end of the academic year, date and time for collecting the Transfer Certificate will be informed by the admission department.
  • Pupil who intends to leave the school should clear all the dues to the school before taking T.C.
  • Once the TC is issued to a student his/her name would be off the rolls. If he/she wishes to re-join it would be treated as a fresh application and would have to go through the admission process.
