Investiture Ceremony 2023-24

The Investiture Ceremony of the SRM Public School was held on July 01, 2023. 22 members of the Core Council, 14.Club Heads and 70 Class Captains were decorated with the badges and scrolls of their roles and responsibilities. The students were inducted into the School Students’ Council by the Chief Guest Dr Vinita Raj, an academician, entrepreneur, trainer, advocate and an orator, in the presence of the Correspondent Sri M Subramanian and the Advisor of the school, Dr K R Maalathi. After administering the oath of office, the chief guest addressed the gathering, with an inspiring message for the newly elected council members, as the proud parents witnessed the event.

 

 

 

Student Council Election Result 2023-24

Elections for the school Council..a practical exercise to understand how democracies function. A day breathlessly awaited by the candidates contesting for the various posts and equally so by the students of Grade 6 who would cast their vote for the first time . The election process went smoothly with students from grade 6 to 12 casting their vote. And what a culmination – with school erupting in joy as the results were announced before school dispersed, by the Advisor Dr K R Maalathi and the Principal Mrs Bhuvaneshwari S !

Student Council Election Campaign 2023 – Day 2

Election fever catches up in school as excited students from senior classes went around the school with their election symbol and manifesto, talking the junior classes and appealing for votes. The campaign will go on for a week and culminate on next Monday (26.06.23) when elections will be held for the students’ council.

 

Remote Controlled Plane – Robotics

SRMPS’s own Wright brother…Kamalesh from Grade 7E earned immense admiration from the school management, his teachers and class mates, by building the prototype of his own remote controlled plane using indigenous materials. The Robotics and STEAM Lab at SRMPS stands committed to encourage innovations from students like Kamalesh. Best wishes to the young inventor.

 

Yoga for Mums’

As an extension of the International Yoga Day celebrations, SRMPS organised a session ‘Yoga for Mums’ which was met with an overwhelming response. The Female parents participated in the session which covered a number of yogasanas and pranayama exercises aimed at the general well being with particular emphasis on women’s health.
