Session on New Education Policy (NEP) 2022
A very informative and interesting session on NEP 2022, was conducted by the Advisor, Dr K R Maalathi for the staff of SRM Public School , on May 22, 2023. The session helped to shed light on the salient features of the NEP 2022 and helped to clarify doubts that the teachers had.
Teacher Training Programme for Kindergarten Teachers
A one day teacher training session shall be held for all kindergarten teachers of SRMPS on May 23, 2023. The resource Ms Sathya Rao, a teacher trainer from Auuro Educational Services and Editor, VBH Publishers, Chennai will conduct the session in ‘Teaching Techniques and Hands-on Experience’.
Congratulations to GRADE X and XII Board Exam Subject Toppers 2022 – 23
SRM Public School Result – 100% in Grade 10 and 12 Board Examination 2022-23
SRMPS Congratulates class XII students on passing the board exams with such a great result. All 61 students of grade 12 and 72 students of grade 10 those who have appeared for board exam have secured distinction.
International Dance Day -An Intra School Dance Competition
On the eve of International Dance Day, an intra school dance competition was organised for the students of grades 4 to 9 on April 28 2023. Students participated in overwhelming numbers, exhibiting remarkable talent in classical, folk and western dance genres.
Water Conservation
To meet the challenge of environmental degradation, the Honourable Prime Minister of India enunciated the idea of Life Style For Environment (LiFE). LiFE’ envisages a way of living which respects nature and other organisms co-existing with us, the humans for a greener and cleaner earth. It is premised on the basic principles of ‘Lifestyle of the planet, for the planet and by the planet’. With this purpose in mind our assemblies in April are mapped to the theme of the SDG Clean Water and Sanitation, presented by the students to create awareness and suggest measures to do our bit to preserve our planet
Sanskrit Olympiad – National Level
We are proud of Ms Navya and Ms Navina of grade 9 (AY 2022-23 ) who displayed a stellar performance in the 8th Sanskrit Olympiad at National Level. Both the students were awarded a certificate with Gold Medal.
Parent Orientation Programme
Further to the Parent Orientation Sessions held last week for middle, Senior & Senior Secondary sections, similar sessions were held on April 20 and 21, 2023. The Parents were acquainted about the school policies and the initiatives being taken by the school for the comprehensive development of all the students.
World Earth day
World Earth day is celebrated on April 22, every year to create an awareness about the damage we are doing to our planet and the ways in which could reverse these changes. The students of grade 10 of SRM Public School presented a special assembly on the Topic : Global Warming and its impact on Polar Ice Caps.
