Internship – Pudhiyathalamurai studio

The grade 12 students of Mass Media finished the first day of Internship at the Pudhiyathalamurai studio, on 17th December 2022. The students got a hands-on experience of working behind the camera and got a feel of what it is to be on the sets of a studio.

CBSE Workshop on Classroom Management

“Classroom Management is not about having the right rules. It’s about having the right relationship” A 2 day CBSE Workshop on Classroom Management held at SRMPS, was attended by the teachers of the host school as well as teachers from other CBSE schools of Chennai. The resource persons, Mrs. Vasumathy Srinivasan and Mrs. P.N. Sundari created an awareness among the teachers that a responsive classroom approach creates an ideal environment for learning.

‘Foot Step Power Generator’ an innovative approach to solving the power crisis and the need of the hour. We are elated to announce the selection of this unique project conceptualised and created by Eniyan M (Gr VIII A) and JaiMithran (Gr VIII B) has won them a coveted entry to the National Level Science Exhibition organised by CBSE. Way to go , boys.. looking forward to more laurels.

 

KG Assembly

Morning assembly in a school gives each student and teacher a fresh start for the day . It is a chance for the students to connect with each other. Today’s assembly started with a warm up exercise followed by the morning prayer by Subiksha G, National Pledge (first 2 lines) by Preyakshna Mitra, Happytots oath by Veeramithran J, Thirukural by Keshav Pranav V, Amazing facts by Ugan R and Subiksha G, Rhymes by Ria K, Nitesh Nagarajan, Mavuri Naaga Abhay, Dafydd Caydren, Mahirah P and Dhakshith K. Assembly ended with a birthday song and closing claps.

SRMPS’ virtual collaboration with Tokyo Bay international school, Japan, for origami events is one of the milestones in SRMPS’ journey thus far. Grade 4 students proved themselves dexterous while making various paper figures . The students of Tokyo Bay international school taught our little masters the art of origami during a virtual zoom session on 7.12.22. our inquisitive students interacted well to acquire more knowledge on making of paper figures and felt happy while taking loads and loads of learning home.
