A special assembly heralded the festive mood at SRMPS as students thronged the campus in brightly coloured traditional clothes. The students were encouraged to celebrate a safe diwali by the Chief School Security Officer, who gave a demo of safety while burning crackers. A sound mind lives in a healthy body. With this theme the Psychology dept. put up a role play to destigmatize mental illness by reaching out to the counselor for timely intervention.
Little champions of SRMPS have showered us with numerous prizes won for various events like karate, skating, korf ball, poem recitation and drawing. Their tireless effort and passion for sports, art and literature leave us spellbound. Congratulations,kids!

Karate champions krishant and Srinidhi S of grade VIII have exhibited an outstanding performance and bagged the second and first place in kata and Kumite events conducted by Zenkoahn Isshin -Ryu karate-do of India at SIVET college on 16.10.22.
Service at its best!
The members of the eco club and the quality circle club participated enthusiastically in the temple cleaning activity at the Nandhivaram temple, Guduvancheri on 15th October 2022 About 25 students along with three faculty members cleaned the temple and its premises for an hour as a part of the community service program. This kind of service would help our students preserve our cultural heritage.
An Orientation for the Parents of grades 10 and 12 was organised on 15.10.22 ( Saturday) to share some important tips to help them ease the stress that board going students might experience and be a supportive parent for their child at this crucial juncture. Besides this,the school counselor spoke about adolescence and related issues while the heads of the mathematics, science and commerce departments spoke about time management, paper presentation and reference materials.
