Fit India Quiz

The Elementary level of selection round to qualifying for the Fit India Quiz was held on 08.10.22 (Saturday) for the students of grades 8 to 12 through a written test. . The test contained questions from various fitness and sports related topics like tournaments and trophies, sports persons, Indigenous sports, current achievements in sports, Olympics, Asian games , Commonwealth and other international tournaments etc., yoga and current affairs. Students who qualify this round will be registered to participate in the further rounds of the quiz, at National Level.

Kindergarten PTM – Term 1

Kindergarten End of term 1 PTM was held on 08.10.22 (Saturday) to discuss the progress and growth of the child over the last 6 months of school. Education and the all round development of a child is possible only through a constructive partnership between the school and the home. Parent teacher Interactions play a vital role in building a strong bond between teachers and parents to work as partners to ensure that we give the child roots to grow and wings to fly.

CBSE-CVS Essay writing contest

Students of grades 10 , 11 and 12 participated in the CBSE-CVS essay writing contest , titled ‘Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation’ , on 08.10.22 (Saturday). One of the most important aims of education is to inculcate values among students so that they develop into responsible and committed citizens to contribute in nation -building. Hence this essay writing contest aimed at creating an awareness among the students about the negative impacts of corruption and the need to build integrity of character.

Vijayadasami Celebration 2022 Montage

Vijayadasami signifies the end of negativity and evil within us and marks a fresh new beginning. The school ushered in the second term with pooja, invoking the blessings of Goddess Durga,Lakshmi and Saraswati. The school also opened admissions on this auspicious occasion where Aksharabhyas was performed for tiny tots who walked into school today seeking admission to this Temple of Learning , for the next academic year. The correspondent, Sri M Subramanian blessed the little ones as he guided their little hands to write the alphabet, on a tray of grains.

 

 

Ayutha Pooja Celebration 2022

Ayutha Pooja was performed with great religious fervour and devotion on 3rd October, at the hands of the correspondent, Sri M .Subramanian, the Advisor, Dr K.R.Maalathi and the Principal, Mrs.S Bhuvaneshwari. The advisor and correspondent wished all the members of the SRMPS family prosperity, health and happiness in the years to come.
