Kindergarten celebrated the blue day on the 26th August 2022. The courtyard was embellished with the pictures and objects of the colour blue that signify serenity, stability and reliability. Teachers were also dressed up in blue attire to emphasize the pulchritude of the colour.
The 50 KV Solar plant was installed on 24th August 2022 by our correspondent Sir and Advisor Madam. SDG ( sustainable development goals) being the theme of the year,the school management initiated this to use solar power as electrical energy marching towards Sustainability.
The Department of Tamil took pride in inaugurating the
Tamil mandram on our Chancellor ‘s birthday. Chief guest Mr. Ervadi Radhakrishnan inaugurated the mandram and graced the occasion. Other dignitaries like Correspondent,advisor and principal were present at the inauguration ceremony. The importance and the beauty of the Tamil language was spoken about by the dignitaries. Long live, Tamil!

Students of mass media went on an exhilarating trip to Mahabalipuram as a part of their class project. This trip was arranged to impart knowledge on the art of taking photos, the knack of handling equipment and the science behind the making of photos realistic.
Budding silambam masters’ phenomenal achievement!
Our students have won prizes in various levels in silambam competition organised by Chengalpet district silambam association. The following students are the winners of the competition held
1. Rasesh – third place in sub junior level for both single and double stick category
2. Lavanthika- sub junior level third place for single stick category
3. Prithika Diya. V third prize in sub junior level ( individual performance).

Lishanth .V has achieved the third place in kata in the sixth invitational karate championship 2022 organised by Kempo karate association.
A successful celebration of the 76th Independence day was held at SRMPS with a great patriotic fervor. The takeaway of this celebration is that every citizen should be responsible for safeguarding the acquired freedom by keeping our spirits high and our smile with pride, which were from guests talk. Goosebumps moments were the flag hoisting and singing our national anthem. Every word of the National anthem reminded us of our incredible India! Proud to be Indians! Jai hind!!!
