An orientation programme was organized for the parents of Grade 9 to 12, on 09.09.22 via zoom, to create awareness regarding how CIALFO can help with career planning. Ms. Sucheeta (Manager, CIALFO) conducted the session explaining the features of CIALFO portal such as logging into the student’s profile, dashboard, universities, tasks and assessments, eligibility test etc. The webinar was well attended and parental queries were answered to their satisfaction.
Ms Suchetha from CIALFO held a short session for the students of grade XII on ‘Career Planning” on 7th September 2022. She spoke to the students about different personality types and career fields best suited for each. This was the first among a series of more such sessions planned in the weeks ahead, to help students make a wise choice.
SRMPS was selected as Hub Centre by the CBSE for the workshop on Financial Literacy, for teachers, on 09.09.2022. Nearly 140 teachers attended the workshop including teachers from SKM Vidya Mandir.
The workshop enlightened teachers on all options available for investing their savings to optimise earning and planning for their retirement funds.
King Mahabali was welcomed by SRMPians during the Onam celebration on 8th September 2022. A huge pookalam was made with decorative flowers that added more festivity to the celebration. Substantial information about celebrating the Onam festival was shared with our students to give them the exposure to the major festivals celebrated in India.
