UKG Field Trip to the super market

Kids love to learn new things and one of the best way to understand new things is to have hands on experience.

On par with the concept of the month “The neighbourhood places“, our UKG children were taken to Mithran Super Market. There children were made to identify different things, they were allowed to pick up things of their choice and also they witnessed the process of billing the product, they choose.

Children were excited to watch the fresh coffee beans grounded into coffee powder and packed into packets of different measurement.

Overall it was a good learning experience by the children.

Grandparents Day

Grandparents are special to every child. They are family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions and the foundation of a happy family. Through the special love and care grandparents keep a family close to their heart.

We at SRM Public School celebrated Grandparents Day on 8th and 10th Aug 2019 to honour them also to rekindle the young minds that they too deserve to be remembered in spite of all the busy schedules of this fast paced life.

Grandparents had a fun filled day.The Grandparents expressed their feelings to the teachers and commented on how special they felt.

Grandparents Day was a memorable one for the children as well as grandparents who left with pleasant memories, loads of appreciation and heaps of blessings for the school and it’s staff.

Blue Colour Day

Blue -the colour of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust has a very positive impact on all of us.

31st July 2019 UKG kids of SRM Public School celebrated “Blue Colour Day“.

Blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities like “show & tell” making take away crafts and dressing in blue colour .The courtyard was transformed into a beach with merry go round and under sea aquarium. The joy, excitement and enthusiasm was very much visible in the classrooms.

Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and the words. Blue Day was an amazing learning experience with long lasting effect on every student.
