Drivers Safety and Defensive Training With Soft Skills held on 03 Feb 2018

Safety of the students is our prime concern be it in the premises or while students travel to and fro.To ensure this a one day training workshop on “Emotional Driving” was conducted by Mr. Rajagopalan for the drivers.

 

The drivers who are experts in their field were educated on social skills, emotional conduct, safe driving especially with children on board and mandatory safety norms to be followed. The attenders who accompany in the bus were educated on the safe ways to handle the children in the bus and ways to assist the driver in safe driving.

Grandparents Day-2018

Republic Day Celebration-2018

Grandparents Day held on 27th January 2018

Grandparent’s day was celebrated on 27 January 2018 in SRM Public School.More than

400 grandparent’s turned up for this event and they were ushered with Roses and Signed

in the banner, as a remark.

 

The Function began at 9.30am in the morning, Dr. Maalathi our Advisor Interacted with

the grandparents about how to handle and tackle the grand children of current generation.

Grandparent’s shared their experience too.Students sang a memorable song for their grandparents.

Children gave greeting cards to their grandparents as a token of love.

 

School organized variety of games in which grandparents participated with great zeal.The winners

were greeted with gifts by the Principal and Advisor.Thank you note was given by our UKG Student

and the grandparents were served with refreshments.It was indeed a highly emotional and satisfied day.

Republic Day Celebration held on 26th January 2018

The first ever SRMPS Republic day was celebrated on 26th January 2018.
Our School Band Team welcomed the Chief Guest Retd. Commodore Mr.Ramachandra.
The Program started with the prayer song. Chief guest unfurled the National Flag.
This was followed by our ‘Nation Anthem’ sung by a team of students and everyone.

Our Principal addressed the gathering.

students marched in contingents to the beat of drum. After the band, skit was played

by the student on the theme of ‘fundamental Rights’.

 

The group dance with modern ‘Patriotic song’ filled everyone with pure patriotism.

Few students presented speech in various language on ‘Republic Day’.

At the end chief guest Retd. Commodore Mr. Ramachandra appreciated the students and

teachers for their efforts and shared his experiences with the students.

Pongal Celebration – 2018

Pongal Celebration-2018

SRM Public School donned a village atmosphere with the typical decorations exclusive

for any festival in the villages on 11.01.2018. It was Pongal celebration in the school.

 

A special assembly was conducted; students presented a street play to depict the significance

of our own Harvest Festival. Pongal was prepared in the open and offered to the Sun God.

The grand finale was the bullock cart ride which the students enjoyed the most.
