19th of July spelt a lot of excitement at SRM Public School as the staff and students geared up to welcome student and staff delegates from Highworth Grammar School, Kent, UK who were visiting as a part of the international immersive experience programme. The guests were regaled by an insightful assembly, an intriguing journey into optical illusions and traditional games and the science behind them. The highlight of the day was an energetic and mesmerizing cultural extravaganza that showcased classical and folk music and dance styles. As students exchanged interesting information about the culture of the two nations, stress of student life, peer and parental pressure and future plans and aspirations, they built strong bonds of friendship that bridged all geographic and cultural divides.

Scouts and Guides training sessions resumed in SRMPS for the new academic year, on 12th July, 2024. The session was packed with learning and fun! Students mastered knots, explored Scout Law and Promise, and enjoyed team-building games.
