Today was the re-opening day of an excellent academic year for our Srm public school students of every grade. It was the time for mirth,friendship, learning and fun for our fervent students. A special assembly was held to welcome the students, the welcome song and dance accelerated the atmosphere Students of every grade had a fun time on this re-opening day.
Selvi. Iniya Pragathi from grade 6 ( one among close to 100 young authors in our school ) will soon be recognised for her achievement as the best selling young author. Her second book titled “ Evidence of Water on Mars” is a best seller in the young authors category. She was felicitated with an award at a ceremony in New Delhi on the 31st March.
We are proud of our budding author Iniya Pragati and wish her to achieve more laurels in future.

SRMPS proudly welcomed Sensai Katsunori Takahashi, Vice Principal, Linden Hall High School, Fukuoka, Japan on 26.04.2024 . Sensai Takahashi was escorted on a campus tour by the Correspondent Mr M Subramanian and the Advisor Dr K R Maalathi. He was spellbound by the infrastructural facilities available in the school such as the STEM & Robotics lab, the Mass Media room and the Libraries. He praised the projects in the area of innovation and technology, undertaken by the students, right from Grade 4 level. He addressed the students of Grade 10 and answered their questions on the education, sports and traditions of Japan. He invited the students to visit his school by participating in student exchange programmes during the upcoming years.
A workshop on financial literacy and planning was conducted by a resource person appointed by the CBSE, for the teachers of SRMPS on the 16th of March 2024. The resource person Ms. Usha threw some light on the basics of banking and financial securities, she also emphasized on the importance of savings for better prospects, how to be extra vigilant about financial scams which is a direct threat to us.
