Encourage and support your kids because children are apt to live up to what you believe of them. With this underlying intention, the advisor of SRMPS, Dr K R Maalathi addressed the parents of the students of Grade 12, on November 22, 2023. In an interactive session, Dr Maalathi, shared parenting tips and insights to reduce the anxiety and stress, that the board going students might be facing. She also advised parents to have casual chats with the child to allow the child to unburden their fears and place their trust in the child to give them confidence and positive reinforcement. Towards the end, the parents shared their suggestions about how revisions can be made more effective.

Heartiest congratulations to the students of SRM Public School who won accolades through their exemplary performance in Tech Vistara hosted by SRMIST. The teams representating SRMPS won the first prize in coding, English speech, shipwreck and poster design. This stellar performance gave the team the coveted opportunity to lift the overall championship trophy.

SRMPS celebrated Children’s day on 14th , November to commemorate the 130th birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.The celebration was marked with grand splendor and fiesta as the school campus was buzzed with excitement and joy.Various activities such as Adaptune , Block and Tackle , Dumbcharades were organised for students and they greatly enjoyed participating in all the activities.The teachers programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion with teachers holding the stage and putting up mesmerizing cultural show for the children.Finally a recorded video was played which covered the experiences involved during the different stages of human life from new born to schooling , the core values of life, do’s and don’ts of adolescents ,the core values of life.

With a forward looking approach SRM Public School, encourages innovations and exploratory research. In the recent Youth Ideathon ‘ThinkStartup challenge’ organised by CBSE , the SRM Public School presented a stellar performance by winning 3 coveted awards.

The SRM Public School was awarded the Bronze award in the School of Innovation category.

Mrs Kokila Dinesh, the coordinator for this challenge was awarded the Silver Award in the Teacher of Innovations category .

The Principal Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Subramaniam was bestowed with the title of the Principal of Innovations.
