Visit to Government Music college Adyar

The fine arts department of SRMPS visited the Government Music college, Adyar along with a few students from grades 6-11. Interactions with the students and the faculty gave an enriching experience to our young arts. Our students also performed along with college students making it more memorable for them.

Leader in Me Connect 2023

The Principal, Mrs S Bhuvaneshwari and 8 members of the Lighthouse Team, SRMPS attended a day’s seminar called LIM Connect on 30.10.23. They got an opportunity to directly interact with Mrs Muriel Summers, Award winning Principal and Teacher,best selling Co Author and Global Ambassador, FranklinCovey, USA
Mr Bill McIntyre, Vice President and General Manager, FranklinCovey, International Education, USA. The session was organised by Leader In Me, headed by Dr. Kannan Gireesh. It helped the entire team to understand how the 7 Habits of being an effective leader can be made a part of every day school life to bring an everlasting impact on the lives of the students and the staff.

Number Activity for Grade 1

The only way to learn Mathematics is to do Mathematics.

The activity based learning has an unique impact in learning the concepts in a quick way. Grade 1 students zealously learnt addition through an activity with the number cards. It also helped them to practise sharing, togetherness, team work, taking turns and much more.
