The spirit of Pongal filled our campus as students from KG to Grade 11 came together to celebrate with joy and enthusiasm.
From greeting card making, drawing, crafts, and colouring activities, creativity was at its brightest throughout the day.
The celebration ended on a sweet note as students shared treats, laughter, and smiles with their friends, making it a truly memorable Pongal Fun Day!

The Scouts and Guides Quarterly Camp
A day of discipline, teamwork, and fun!
The Guides and Scouts Quarterly Camp held on December 20, 2025, was an enriching experience for students. Guides participated in activities like uniform drill, scarf folding, flag knowledge, knots, first aid, team-building games, craft work, claps, and Guides’ song and yell.
The Scouts’ camp focused on developing life skills through activities such as treasure hunt, first aid, roping, basic electrical and plumbing knowledge, physical activities, and tent pitching.
The camp was both enjoyable and informative, with students participating enthusiastically and gaining confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills.
Field Trip to Srinivasa Ramanujar Museum
Grade 11 and 12 students from SRMPS visited the Srinivasa Ramanujan Museum—a truly inspiring experience for young math minds.
Through learning by doing, students actively participated in engaging mathematical activities, sparking curiosity and joy in learning. They were deeply moved while viewing Ramanujan’s preserved handwritten letters, feeling a strong connection to his legacy.
A memorable visit that truly created interest in Mathematics and celebrated the spirit of discovery.
Christmas Day Celebration
An Educational Industrial Visit – Hatsun Agro
Grades 11 & 12 students of Commerce group visited Hatsun Agro Product Ltd’s Plant, Red Hills,as a part of an educational industrial visit.
The visit provided insights into modern dairy processing, quality control, and packaging systems.
Students observed the use of automation, hygiene standards, and sustainable practices in food production.
The experience effectively connected classroom learning with real-world industrial applications.

National Mathematics Day Celebration
National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal by the Department of Mathematics at SRM Public School on 22 December 2025.
In the fortnight leading up to the main event, a series of engaging competitions were organized to ignite students’ interest and joy in learning mathematics. The Mathematics Day celebration marked the culmination of these activities, during which the winners were honoured with certificates and trophies presented by the Correspondent of the school, Mr. M. Subramanian, along with the distinguished guests—Mr. Sankar Raman R., Head of the Department, Chettinad Vidyashram, and Mr. Murugaiyan S., Coordinator and Associate Professor, Maharishi Global Education (RP) for Foundation and JEE.
As part of the celebrations, students were intellectually stimulated by thought-provoking and challenging mathematical questions posed by the esteemed guests. An interactive session followed, during which students actively participated and presented their mathematical projects, engaging in meaningful discussions with the guests.
The event held special significance as the school community came together to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, whose extraordinary contributions to mathematics continue to inspire generations of learners. Adding pride to the occasion, the much-awaited Young Ramanujan Trophy was won by Mr.Tejas of Class XI C. Proud of you, Young Ramanujan!
