The students who participated in the Payload project of SRMPS had a virtual interaction with the students of Tokyo Bay international School, Japan on 27.01.25, on the topic, ‘ Beyond Space’ . The session was very interactive with the students of SRMPS throwing light on the nuances of working on the payload and the learning thereby. They shared their emotions on seeing their payload being sent into space with launch of SSLV-D3 Demo Sat. Their counterparts from Japan asked curious questions regarding the challenges they faced, the expenditure involved, future missions etc. The session ended with the Advisor of SRMPS, Dr K R Maalathi expressing her desire to probe the possibility of a collaborative space mission in the future.
