An interactive and informative session on ‘Mindful teaching ‘ was conducted for the teachers on 6.1.24 by Dr K R Maalathi, advisor, SRM Public school. The session highlighted the significance of being mindful and the benefits reaped out of it. Our reckless thoughts and lackadaisical attitude make us incompetent sometimes. To overcome this stumbling block we need to surmount all pitfalls in life. This eye-opener session paved the way for it.

KG Field trip to Vandalur zoo
Field trips are a great way to reinforce lessons children have learnt in the class. Reading and listening about concepts is one thing, but having the opportunity to explore and experience them is totally different.
Our Happy Tots visited Vandalur Zoo to experience the world of amazing animals and birds in their natural habitat. Children were fascinated and astonished to see Lion. White tiger, Bengal tiger, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, giraffe, leopard, chimpanzee family, elephants, deer, peacock, langur, ostrich, emu e.t.c. It was an enriching and wonderful experience.
